Principal's Message:

Welcome to Richmond Public school website. The purpose of this website is to provide a means for our school community to access information about the many aspects of school life at RPS. We hope that you will find our website useful and informative.

Richmond Public school Mission Statement: To develop and provide each learner an education of the highest quality in a positive environment with caring, dedicated and effective staff members.

Our dedicated staff strives for excellence as they guide our students towards the expectations as outlined in the Ontario Ministry documents. As dedicated and professional educators, we work together as a team to achieve the very best for our students. We are committed to nurturing happy and engaged children who are eager to do their best at all times and to take responsibility for their learning and behaviour in a safe and stimulating environment.

Our parents generously give up their time to our school throughout the year. These is evident through their active participation on school Council and involvement assisting on field trips, volunteering as classroom helpers, and are an integral part of our fundraising. They make a huge difference in the lives of our students and learning community. When home and school work together, we can make a difference in our studentsí education.
